透き通った水源や緑が豊かな外輪山など、南阿蘇村で感じ取った自然の美しさをステンドグラスに繊細に落とし込んでいます。
自然の瑞々しさを織り交ぜたステンドグラスで日々の暮らしを、
人生を豊かにできればと願っています。
Glass studio MATSU is a stained glass atelier located in Minamiaso Village, Kumamoto.
Minamiaso Village has lots of beautiful nature such as the clear water souces or lush mountains, and I have been seeking to adopt such nature beauty to my works hoping that people remember how adorable the nature is to enrich our life.
アンティークガラスとは
機械生産のガラスではなく、人の手によって１枚１枚作られる手作りのガラスのこと。glass studio MATSUでは主にドイツ製のアンティークガラスを使用しています。人の手でしか生み出すことのできないきらめきや濃淡、気泡、美しいゆらぎが魅力のガラスです。その名前からよくヴィンテージのガラスだと勘違いされますが、機械を使わず昔ながらの製法で作られているという意味でアンティークガラスと呼ばれています。
"Antique glass" is mouth-blown and hand-finished beautiful glasses made with the traditional methods of production; it has a gorgeous range of colors and combinations, and is uniquely brilliant.
All of my works are composed of these glasses.
